Student Life

At GSS Institute of Technology, students actively participate in a wide range of technical and cultural clubs and societies. These activities help students enhance their leadership, managerial, and technical skills while promoting teamwork, creativity, and overall personality development.

Robotics Club

The Robotics Club at GSSIT provides a platform for students to explore robotics and automation technologies. The club organizes workshops, training sessions, and robotics events throughout the year, including during technical festivals. A final-year student is typically appointed as the Chairperson, encouraging student leadership and peer learning.

Technical & Cultural Festivals

GSSIT celebrates technical and cultural festivals in every even semester of the academic year. “Kalataranga,” held annually in the month of April, is the flagship cultural fest of the institute. The event attracts participation from reputed VTU-affiliated colleges and showcases student talent through a variety of cultural and technical programs.

Central Library

The Central Library at GSSIT supports the academic and research needs of students, faculty, and staff. It is well-equipped with books, journals, online databases, CD-ROMs, audio and video resources, dissertations, and project reports. Faculty members actively contribute to research publications and academic writing, further enriching the learning environment.
