Admission Overview

Admission to GSS Institute of Technology (GSSIT) is offered through recognized entrance examinations conducted by the Government of Karnataka and the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). The institute follows the admission norms prescribed by AICTE, VTU, and the Government of Karnataka.

Entrance Examinations

Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) programs must appear for one of the following entrance examinations:

i) Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA)

ii) COMEDK UGET conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka

Admissions are based on merit, entrance exam rank, counseling, and seat availability.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 / PUC or equivalent examination
  • Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects, along with one optional subject
  • Minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by KEA / COMEDK / VTU must be met

Admission Process

Step 1 : Entrance Examination

Appear for KCET (KEA) or COMEDK UGET, conducted by the Government of Karnataka or COMEDK.

Step 2 : Counseling & Seat Allotment

Qualify and participate in centralized counseling through KEA or COMEDK, and choose GSS Institute of Technology (GSSIT) based on your rank.

Step 3 : Admission Confirmation

Report to GSSIT for document verification, fee payment, and completion of admission formalities.
